Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer to join our innovative team in Coatbridge. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable RPA solutions using industry-leading platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify automation opportunities.
- Create detailed process design documents (PDD) and solution design documents (SDD).
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot existing RPA bots, ensuring optimal performance and resolving issues promptly.
- Adhere to best practices for RPA development, security, and governance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to business users and fellow team members.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development standards and methodologies.
- Stay updated with emerging RPA technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development.
- Proficiency with at least one major RPA platform (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and experience with languages like C#, Java, Python, or VB.NET.
- Experience with process analysis, design, and implementation.
- Ability to create clear and concise documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- RPA developer certification from a leading platform (e.g., UiPath Advanced Developer, Blue Prism Developer).
- Experience with AI/ML integration into RPA solutions.
- Knowledge of various enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) and their integration with RPA.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
