Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting part-time opportunity to be at the heart of Lagos’ vibrant music and festival scene? Halogen Security Company is seeking enthusiastic and vigilant individuals to join our team as Concert & Festival Crowd Ushers. This entry-level role is perfect for those who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy interacting with people, and are committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in crowd management, guest assistance, and maintaining order during weekend night shifts at various concert and festival venues primarily located in Festac Town and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and direct attendees to their designated areas, exits, and facilities with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Monitor crowd behavior to prevent overcrowding, enforce venue policies, and identify potential issues or hazards.
- Provide clear and concise instructions during emergencies, assisting with evacuation procedures if necessary.
- Assist guests with special needs, ensuring accessibility and comfort.
- Report any incidents, security breaches, or unusual occurrences to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by being aware of surroundings and reporting any spills or obstructions.
- Collaborate effectively with security personnel, event organizers, and fellow ushers to ensure smooth event flow.
- Represent Halogen Security Company with professionalism and a positive attitude at all times.
