Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and innovation initiatives, supporting our global talent base. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader who can drive technological advancement, foster a culture of innovation, and ensure our technology infrastructure empowers our diverse, distributed teams worldwide. The CTO will be instrumental in shaping our future by identifying emerging technologies, optimizing existing systems, and guiding the development of solutions that enhance productivity, collaboration, and service delivery across our global operations. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, requiring a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data management, and cloud technologies. You will be responsible for defining and implementing our technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall technology strategy and roadmap, aligning with business goals and market dynamics.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a global team of engineers, developers, and IT professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions.
- Drive innovation by identifying and evaluating new technologies, methodologies, and platforms that can enhance business capabilities.
- Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
- Establish and enforce robust cybersecurity policies and data governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to communicate technology vision, strategy, and progress.
- Ensure technical compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, agile development, and technical excellence.
- Act as a technical evangelist, representing the company at industry events and conferences.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior management position (e.g., VP of Engineering, Head of Technology, or CTO).
- Proven track record of defining and executing successful technology strategies.
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and scalable software development.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and data privacy regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing globally distributed teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Experience in a multinational or globally distributed organization.
- Familiarity with AI/ML, blockchain, or IoT technologies.
- Experience in the professional services or consulting industry.
- Fluency in French is a plus, but not required.
