Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Manager to join our dynamic team in Bradford. This exceptional opportunity is designed for qualified audit professionals from outside the UK looking to advance their career with a Top 10 firm. As an Audit Manager, you will lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality assurance services in accordance with UK accounting standards. You will play a crucial role in mentoring junior staff, managing client relationships, and contributing to the firm’s growth and reputation. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and deadlines.
- Lead and mentor audit teams, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business needs.
- Review audit working papers and financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and relevant auditing standards.
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and engagement partners.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent internationally recognized accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years (60 months) post-qualification experience in audit, preferably within a Big 4 or Top 10 firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
- Proven experience in managing and leading audit teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a diverse client portfolio, including listed companies or large private groups.
- Demonstrated experience in staff development and performance management.
- Fluency in additional languages relevant to international client base.
