Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Drivers Mates / Porters to join our busy team in Cowley, Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for consistent work with weekly pay and early morning starts. You will play a crucial role in assisting our drivers with the safe and efficient delivery of parcels and goods to our valued customers. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal entry-level position for those with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with the loading and unloading of parcels and goods at various customer locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are handled with care, preventing damage to items during transit.
- Help navigate routes and assist the driver in planning efficient delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing DPD UK professionally.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures where required.
- Communicate any issues or delays effectively to the driver and depot.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle throughout the day.
