Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and responsible School Bus Monitors / Aides to join our team in Coventry. This vital role involves supervising students on their journey to and from school, ensuring their safety, comfort, and adherence to rules. The position operates on split shifts, typically morning and afternoon routes, making it an ideal opportunity for parents or individuals seeking a schedule that aligns with school hours. No prior experience is required; we provide full training to ensure you are confident and capable in this rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assist students during bus boarding and disembarking.
  • Ensure students are seated safely and comfortably throughout the journey.
  • Monitor student behaviour on the bus and report any incidents to the driver or supervisor.
  • Assist students with special needs as required, including securing wheelchairs or other mobility aids (training provided).
  • Communicate effectively with bus drivers regarding student needs or concerns.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive environment for all students.
  • Assist with emergency evacuations if necessary (training provided).
  • Ensure all students safely exit the bus at their designated stops.
