Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lounge Waitress to join our team at Filmhouse Cinemas in Yaba. This role is crucial in ensuring our lounge guests have an enjoyable and seamless experience before or after their movie. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This position offers a competitive monthly base salary of ₦100,000 plus the opportunity to earn daily tips.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon their arrival at the lounge and assist with seating arrangements.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently to guests.
- Process guest payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions.
- Clear tables, clean spills, and maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the lounge area.
- Restock supplies such as cutlery, napkins, and condiments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the lounge as required.
