Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Waiters to join our team for weekend events. As a Banquet Waiter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and successful execution of various functions, providing outstanding service to our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, and place settings.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests during events.
- Clear tables and assist with breakdown and cleanup after events.
- Respond promptly and positively to guest requests and inquiries.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and event management staff.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and carry trays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for weekend shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (minimum 6 months) as a banquet waiter, server, or in a similar hospitality role.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Current Maryland Food Handler's Permit.
