Job Description
We are urgently seeking a dedicated and energetic Waitress to join our dynamic team at DineRight Fast Service Diner. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent customer service skills, and are passionate about providing a memorable dining experience, we want to hear from you! This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring our guests receive prompt and courteous service with a smile. You’ll be the face of our diner, helping us maintain our reputation for efficiency and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and seat them promptly.
- Present menus and inform customers about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to tables in a timely manner.
- Check on customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Clear and clean tables promptly after customers leave.
- Process payments and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Assist with setting up and closing down the dining area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Customer-first attitude and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a waitress or in a similar customer service role
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to speak multiple local languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo) is a plus
