Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking to kickstart your career in the hospitality industry? Chicken Republic is seeking Fast Food Cashiers & Servers to join our dynamic team in Lekki. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for SSCE holders who are eager to learn and grow. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, a willingness to serve, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service counter, and food preparation areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, following hygiene and safety standards.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) qualification.
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service or a similar role (even informal) is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
