Job Description
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in people’s lives? Bath Community Care is seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as Weekend Care Assistants. This is a vital role supporting individuals within their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and independence. No previous experience in care is required as full, comprehensive training will be provided to all successful candidates. We are looking for individuals with a genuine desire to help others, excellent communication skills, and a reliable, compassionate nature. This part-time position offers flexible weekend hours and the opportunity to become part of a caring and supportive community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support with medication prompting and administration (following training).
- Prepare and serve meals and assist with feeding where necessary.
- Provide companionship and engage in light recreational activities.
- Assist with light household duties such as tidying and laundry.
- Support clients with mobility, including transfers and use of mobility aids.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client's condition.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle (due to travel between client homes).

- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
