Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern with a focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles to join our team in Sherbrooke. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in integrating sustainability into business operations and strategy. You will support various initiatives aimed at enhancing our positive impact on society and the environment, working closely with experienced professionals in a dynamic and supportive hybrid work environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on best practices in CSR, ESG reporting, and sustainable finance trends.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing data related to our environmental footprint, social impact, and governance practices.
  • Support the development and preparation of ESG reports, presentations, and communication materials.
  • Participate in the organization and execution of internal and external CSR events and initiatives.
  • Help monitor and track progress against CSR/ESG goals and targets.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to integrate CSR principles into daily operations.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects related to sustainability strategy and stakeholder engagement.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Environmental Studies, Business, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Communications).
  • Strong passion for corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and ESG principles.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized approach to tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous volunteer experience in environmental or social initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
  • Experience with data analysis or visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and its role in sustainable development.
