Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Vending Machine Snack Restocker. This is an exciting opportunity to manage your own independent route, ensuring our vending machines across Great Yarmouth and surrounding areas are fully stocked and operational. A company van will be provided, allowing you to efficiently navigate your route. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience in vending is necessary. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently restock a variety of vending machines with snacks, beverages, and other products according to a predetermined schedule.
- Manage inventory levels within the company van and at machine locations, ensuring accurate stock rotation and minimizing waste.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good working order of all assigned vending machines, performing minor troubleshooting as needed.
- Accurately handle cash and manage electronic payment systems, reconciling daily collections.
- Adhere to a pre-planned route, optimizing time and fuel efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any client inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Report any major maintenance issues or customer feedback to the area supervisor promptly.
- Comply with all company policies and health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving License with a clean record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 kg regularly throughout the day.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory and cash handling.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a route-based delivery, merchandising, or customer service role is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with the Great Yarmouth and broader Norfolk area.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor machine adjustments.
