Job Description
Are you passionate about coffee, customer service, and looking for an exciting new challenge? Costa Coffee in Coventry is seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as a Trainee Barista / Coffee Shop Assistant. No prior experience is required – we believe in nurturing talent and will provide comprehensive, full training to ensure you master the art of coffee making and excel in customer service. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to start your career in hospitality during daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Crafting a wide range of hot and cold beverages to Costa's high standards
- Providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, and handling transactions accurately
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and inviting coffee shop environment
- Restocking display fridges and shelves, ensuring product availability
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards
- Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Assisting with opening and closing duties as required
