Job Description
We are urgently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Traffic Marshall to join our event support team in Plymouth. This is an immediate hire opportunity for individuals ready to contribute to the safe and efficient management of vehicle and pedestrian traffic at various events and sites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, directing vehicles, and maintaining a secure environment. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic at assigned event locations.
- Control site access and egress for vehicles, deliveries, and personnel.
- Maintain clear and safe routes for emergency vehicles and personnel.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, event staff, and the public.
- Implement and adhere to all health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of traffic management equipment as required.
- Ensure a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.

- Understanding of basic health and safety principles.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Traffic Marshall, Banksman, or similar role.
- Valid Traffic Marshall (Banksman) certification/ticket.
- Knowledge of local traffic management guidelines.
- Full UK driving license.
