Job Description
Are you a night owl looking for immediate employment with premium pay? Sobeys in Stratford is seeking dedicated and reliable Night Replenishment Assistants to join our overnight team. This is a crucial role responsible for ensuring our store shelves are fully stocked and impeccably presented for our morning customers. If you’re a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys physical work, we want to hear from you. Full training will be provided, so prior experience is not essential. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload deliveries and stock shelves with merchandise.
- Ensure products are rotated correctly to maintain freshness standards and minimize waste.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with stock control procedures.
- Organize and store excess inventory in designated areas.
- Keep aisles and storage areas clean, tidy, and safe for all staff.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed before opening hours.
Required Skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently and reliably.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate product placement and rotation.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or similar physical work environment is an asset but not required.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tasks and procedures.
