Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Printing Press Finishing Hand to join our production team. This entry-level role is crucial to the final stages of our printing process, involving the precise folding and bagging of various printed materials. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various finishing equipment, primarily folding machines, to process printed materials accurately.
- Perform manual folding and bagging of print products according to job specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to identify and report any defects or inconsistencies.
- Assist press operators and other team members with various tasks as needed during the printing and finishing process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned finishing tasks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding job status, issues, and progress.
Required Skills
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Basic literacy (ability to read job specifications and safety instructions).
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift materials up to 25 kg.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment.
- A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment (even non-printing related) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of printing processes or finishing techniques.
