Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team in Doncaster. As a key healthcare professional, you will be responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical care, dispensing medications accurately, and offering valuable health advice to our diverse patient base. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to community health services, working within a supportive team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense prescription medicines and provide clear instructions to patients on usage and dosage.
  • Offer expert advice on over-the-counter medications and general health concerns.
  • Conduct medication reviews and patient consultations, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Manage and oversee pharmacy operations, including stock control and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide clinical services such as vaccinations and health checks where appropriate.
  • Lead and mentor pharmacy support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical advancements and healthcare regulations.

Required Skills

  • Bachelors or Masters in Pharmacy (MPharm)
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Strong clinical knowledge and dispensing accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a community pharmacy setting
  • Independent Prescriber qualification
  • Experience with pharmacy management systems
