Job Description
Are you looking for flexible, daily-paid work on weekends? Lagos Event Pros is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Weekend Ushers & Event Helpers to support our diverse range of events across Yaba and broader Lagos. No prior experience is required – we provide all necessary training! This is a fantastic opportunity to earn income, gain event experience, and be part of exciting local happenings. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our events run smoothly and our guests have a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and direct event attendees to appropriate areas (e.g., seating, registration, facilities).
- Provide accurate information about event schedules, facilities, and general inquiries.
- Assist with event setup, including arranging chairs, tables, signage, and promotional materials.
- Help with event breakdown and cleanup tasks post-event.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Support event coordinators with various ad-hoc tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods during events.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with the Yaba/Lagos area.
