Job Description
Are you looking for flexible work that fits around your studies or other commitments? Tesco in Ipswich is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Online Order Pickers to join our casual day shift team. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or anyone seeking entry-level work, as full training will be provided. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our online customers receive fresh, high-quality groceries right to their door, ready for collection or delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer online grocery orders within specified timeframes.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all selected products.
- Maintain a tidy and organised picking area and stockroom.
- Follow all food safety and health & safety guidelines.
- Assist with stock rotation and replenishment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding stock availability or order issues.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move items regularly.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
