Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Nightclub Floor Sweeper to join our team in Wakefield. This critical early morning role ensures our venue is immaculate and ready for the next event or business day. Working primarily in the very early hours after closing, you will be responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of the nightclub floors and general public areas, contributing significantly to our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for individuals who are punctual, meticulous, and comfortable with physical work in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of all nightclub floors and public areas.
- Empty waste bins and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of refuse.
- Clean up spills, debris, and any discarded items left after events.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, including checking and replenishing supplies.
- Ensure all areas are pristine and prepared for the next day's operations or upcoming events.
- Adhere strictly to all company health, safety, and hygiene regulations and procedures.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Ability to work early morning or overnight shifts as required.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and lifting light to moderate items.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices, or willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role, especially in a hospitality or commercial setting.
