Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Luxury Watch / Jewelry Sales Associate to join our esteemed team in Bath. This is an incredible opportunity for a sales professional with a passion for luxury goods and a talent for building lasting client relationships. You will be responsible for driving sales of our exclusive range of watches and jewellery, ensuring an exceptional client experience from inquiry to after-sales support. This role offers a significant high commission structure for achieving sales targets, rewarding your dedication and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs and guide them through our luxury collections.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets for watches and jewellery.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge and articulate the unique features and craftsmanship of each piece.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain immaculate store presentation and merchandising standards.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, ticketing, and displaying merchandise.
- Participate in client events and promotional activities.
- Uphold the Mappin & Webb brand image through impeccable personal presentation and professional conduct.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of professional sales experience, preferably within a luxury retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and work in a high-commission structure.
- Exceptional customer service and client relationship management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse clientele.
- Excellent product knowledge or a keen interest in luxury watches and fine jewellery.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience specifically in luxury watch or fine jewellery sales.
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Knowledge of gemmology (e.g., GIA certification) or watchmaking is highly regarded.
- A proven track record of developing and managing a client book.
