Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead sculptors in the preparation, precise carving, and safe assembly of large ice blocks for artistic displays.
• Safely transport heavy ice blocks and related equipment using appropriate methods (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies) and manual lifting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring all specialized tools and equipment are properly stored and meticulously maintained.
• Operate and maintain specialized ice sculpting tools and machinery under direct supervision, adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Support the efficient setup and teardown of elaborate ice sculpture displays at various event venues, both indoors and outdoors.
• Monitor environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, to preserve the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of ice creations.
• Strictly adhere to all company and industry safety protocols, particularly when handling heavy materials and working in consistently cold conditions.
• Assist with thorough quality control checks on finished sculptures to ensure they meet the highest artistic and presentation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful execution of event-related projects.

Required Skills

• Proven physical stamina and strength, capable of safely lifting and maneuvering objects up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively for extended periods in a cold environment (e.g., walk-in freezers, refrigerated rooms, outdoor event settings).
• Strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to precision in all tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to meticulously follow verbal and written instructions.
• Excellent teamwork and clear communication skills.
• Basic understanding and adherence to general tool safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a physically demanding labor role, such as construction, warehousing, or event setup.
• Basic artistic or craft background (e.g., woodworking, ceramics, drawing, visual arts).
• Forklift certification or prior experience operating similar heavy equipment.
• Valid First Aid certification.
• A genuine passion for art, creative expression, and unique event experiences.
