Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and friendly Hotel Breakfast Buffet Attendant to join our dedicated team. This role is perfect for early risers who enjoy starting their day bright and productive, with the added benefit of having their afternoons free. As a key member of our breakfast team, you will ensure our guests enjoy a delightful start to their day by maintaining a well-stocked, clean, and inviting breakfast area. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare the breakfast buffet area before service begins.
- Replenish food and beverage items promptly, ensuring all dishes are presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Greet guests warmly and assist with any inquiries or special requests.
- Clear and clean tables efficiently as guests finish their meals.
- Monitor food temperatures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with washing dishes and general kitchen cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Close down the breakfast area cleanly and efficiently, preparing for the next day's service.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to manage early morning shifts.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 10kg.
- Basic understanding of hygiene standards (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or 2).
- Experience with buffet service or food preparation.
