Job Description

Are you looking to kickstart a career in logistics and warehousing but lack the formal experience? Linfox Logistics is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Joondalup team as a Forklift Operator Assistant. This is an entry-level role designed for someone eager to learn a valuable trade. We will provide comprehensive on-the-job training and support you through obtaining your forklift license, paving the way for a rewarding career within our dynamic operations. You’ll work alongside experienced operators, assisting with warehouse tasks, inventory management, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed forklift operators with loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse.
  • Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures under direct supervision.
  • Participate actively in all provided training sessions for safe forklift operation.
  • Support inventory management, including counting, scanning, and organizing stock.
  • Perform general warehouse duties such as cleaning, tidying, and maintaining an organized workspace.
  • Prepare orders for dispatch and assist with receiving incoming goods.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
