Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated E-commerce Data Specialist to join our dynamic team in Mackay. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for tracking sales performance, identifying key e-commerce trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize our online strategies. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise reports. You will play a crucial part in enhancing customer experience and driving online revenue growth within our diverse retail portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze e-commerce sales data, identifying patterns, opportunities, and potential issues.
- Generate regular reports on website performance, product sales, customer behavior, and marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Track and interpret key e-commerce metrics such as conversion rates, average order value, traffic sources, and customer lifetime value.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and best practices in e-commerce.
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and IT teams to implement data-driven strategies.
- Assist in forecasting sales and inventory needs based on historical data and current trends.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all e-commerce platforms and reporting tools.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in an clear and understandable manner.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, other BI tools).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
