Job Description
Are you passionate about coffee and eager to learn the art of barista craft? Gloria Jean’s Coffees is looking for enthusiastic Barista Trainees to join our team in Greenway. No prior experience is necessary – we are committed to providing comprehensive, hands-on training to transform you into a skilled barista. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the vibrant hospitality industry, working in a fast-paced and fun environment. You’ll learn everything from coffee bean origins to latte art, customer service excellence, and cafe operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in all training sessions and learn barista skills, including espresso extraction, milk frothing, and drink preparation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately and making recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash and card transactions.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the cafe.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience.
- Learn about various coffee beans, blends, and brewing methods.
- Contribute to a positive and energetic team atmosphere.
