Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Construction Management Intern to join our team in Stafford. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project costing and safety within a dynamic construction environment. You will work closely with experienced project managers and engineers, contributing to real-world projects from initial planning to execution. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about construction, eager to learn, and ready to develop practical skills in a supportive setting. Full training and mentorship will be provided, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of project cost estimates and budgets.
- Support the project team in monitoring and tracking project expenditures against budget allocations.
- Contribute to the implementation and oversight of site safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate in site safety inspections and risk assessments, documenting findings.
- Help compile and maintain project documentation, including cost reports, safety logs, and progress reports.
- Shadow project managers and engineers to understand daily operations and project lifecycle.
- Attend project meetings and contribute to discussions where appropriate.
- Research industry best practices for project costing and safety management.
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks to support the project team.
- Learn and apply company standards and regulatory requirements related to construction management.

- Prior experience with CAD software or project management tools (e.g., MS Project) is a plus but not required.
