Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Architect to join our dynamic team in Fort Worth, Texas. This pivotal role involves leading the architectural design and implementation of complex, large-scale systems and solutions that drive our next generation of products and services. The Senior Architect will be instrumental in defining technical strategy, ensuring architectural integrity, and mentoring engineering teams. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design, development, and evolution of enterprise-level systems and platforms.
- Define technical roadmaps, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Conduct architectural reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to established architectural standards and principles.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance system performance, scalability, and security.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for software development processes and architectural frameworks.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in an architectural role.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable, high-availability, and secure enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of various architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven, SOA) and their practical application.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated services.
- Experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) or cloud platforms.
- Experience in the aerospace, defense, or similar highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in complex projects.
