Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Ceramics Worker to join our production team in Kirkstall, Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about craftsmanship and eager to learn the art and science of ceramic production. No prior extensive experience is required as full training will be provided to the right candidate. You will play a vital role in various stages of our ceramic manufacturing process, ensuring the production of beautiful and durable pieces.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing clay and other raw materials for production.
- Operating and monitoring various ceramic machinery and equipment, including kilns.
- Assisting with the molding, shaping, and finishing of ceramic products.
- Loading and unloading kilns safely and efficiently.
- Conducting quality checks on products at different stages of production.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and contributing to overall workshop tidiness.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to meet production targets.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and meticulously.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment (even unrelated).
