Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Waiter to join our bustling team at Shiro Restaurant & Bar. As a Bar Waiter, you will be instrumental in delivering an outstanding beverage experience to our guests, ensuring timely service and a clean, organized bar area. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. You will work closely with our bartenders and serving staff to create memorable moments for our patrons. We offer weekly direct deposits and free staff feeding to ensure our team is well-supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present drink menus, offering recommendations when appropriate.
- Take accurate drink orders from guests and relay them to the bartender.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages promptly and professionally.
- Prepare simple bar snacks or garnishes as required.
- Ensure the bar area is kept clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any service issues with a positive attitude.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the bar and serving team.
