Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agile Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Taunton. In this hybrid role, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working within an Agile framework. You will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and managing requirements for complex projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and successful delivery of innovative products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and manage business requirements from stakeholders using various Agile techniques (e.g., user stories, epics, features).
- Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, and QA Engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Identify and analyze process improvements, recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, wireframes, and data models where appropriate.
- Support testing activities, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, fostering strong communication and understanding.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment.
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques (interviews, workshops, observation).
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to analyze complex information and present it clearly to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, BCS Diploma in Business Analysis).
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- Experience in the Aerospace, Defence & Security sector.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and design thinking methodologies.
