Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing analytics team. In this hybrid role based in our Bristol office, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making across various business units. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, develop robust analytical solutions, and present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business performance and client behaviour.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate key metrics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
- Support the development and implementation of data models and analytical tools.
- Present findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis processes and methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics).
- Experience with scripting languages for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of financial services products and markets.
