Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable General Utility Hands to join our growing teams across various projects within the Rockingham region and surrounding areas. This is an ongoing full-time opportunity offering diverse work, a supportive environment, and opportunities for development. As a General Utility Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operational teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The work will involve a variety of tasks in different settings, requiring flexibility and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled tradespersons and operators with various tasks on-site.
- Performing general labouring duties including digging, lifting, carrying, and clearing debris.
- Operating basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Adhering strictly to all site safety procedures and policies.
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Performing basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Supporting traffic management duties as required.
- Working collaboratively within a team to achieve project goals.
- Being adaptable to changing work locations within the assigned region.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License (manual preferred).
- White Card (Construction Induction).
- Ability to perform physical labour in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a construction, civil, or utility environment.
- First Aid certification.
- Confined Space or Working at Heights certification.
- Truck license (HR or HC).
- Forklift license (LF).
- Experience with basic plant operation.
