Job Description
As a Waiter at Wagamama, you will be at the heart of our restaurant, delivering our unique brand of service and creating an exceptional dining experience for every guest. You’ll be responsible for welcoming customers, taking orders, serving our delicious food and drinks, and ensuring the dining area is always at its best. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting and seating guests upon arrival.
- Accurately taking food and beverage orders using our POS system.
- Serving food and drinks promptly and ensuring excellent presentation.
- Clearing tables and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Handling cash and card payments efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborating effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
- Responding to guest inquiries and resolving any concerns professionally.
- Adhering to all Wagamama standards for health, safety, and hygiene.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, energetic attitude and a passion for customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
