Job Description
We are urgently hiring for dedicated and reliable Warehouse Workers to join our team in Castlegar. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in logistics with no prior experience required. We offer comprehensive training for all new hires, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge to succeed. All shifts are available, providing flexibility for various lifestyles. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be an integral part of our distribution efforts, helping to ensure products are accurately received, stored, and shipped to meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided, if applicable and certified).
- Perform general warehouse duties including cleaning and organizing the work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing products.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
