Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to public health staff and programs.
  • Manage and organize departmental files, records, and databases with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and manage calendars for team members.
  • Assist with data entry, compilation, and basic analysis for various public health projects.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely manner, directing them to the appropriate resources.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Support the planning and execution of public health events and outreach activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to achieve organizational goals.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality policies and procedures related to patient and organizational information.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in office administration, public health, or a related field (certificate or diploma).
