Job Description
Are you passionate about working with children but have no formal experience? Busy Bees in Harrogate is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Nursery Assistant. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to start your career in early years education, with full training provided. You will play a vital role in supporting our qualified staff, ensuring a safe, engaging, and loving environment for children aged 0-5 years. We believe in nurturing talent and providing all the tools you need to succeed and grow within our family.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified nursery staff with daily routines and activities.
- Engage children in play-based learning and provide stimulating interactions.
- Support children with personal care routines, including feeding, changing, and napping.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
- Help maintain a clean, tidy, and organised nursery environment.
- Contribute to planning and preparing age-appropriate activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Attend and participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions.
Required Skills
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- No prior experience in childcare is required – full training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications
