Job Description
Are you passionate about mobile technology, data, and the intricate mechanics of free-to-play models? Volkswagen Digital Solutions is seeking a Mobile Free-to-Play Analytics Intern to join our innovative team in Braunschweig. This entry-level position is perfect for an aspiring analyst eager to dive into real-world data, understand user behavior in mobile applications, and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes. You will gain hands-on experience in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from our various mobile platforms and services, contributing to the optimization of user engagement and digital product performance. Full training and mentorship will be provided, ensuring a strong foundation in analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preparation of data from various mobile applications and platforms.
- Support the analytics team in identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking their performance.
- Conduct basic data analysis to uncover trends, user behavior patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
- Help create reports and dashboards to visualize data and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop hypotheses for A/B tests and feature improvements.
- Learn to utilize analytical tools and software to perform data extraction and manipulation.
- Contribute to documentation of data processes and definitions.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in data analysis, mobile applications, and free-to-play models.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and visualization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and German.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics).
