Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Packaging & Labeling Assistant to join our fast-paced FMCG plant in Victoria Island, Lagos. This is an entry-level opportunity perfect for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing and gain hands-on experience in a world-class production environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are perfectly packaged and labeled, meeting Nestlé’s high standards of quality and presentation. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation of packaging and labeling machinery under supervision.
- Inspect products for quality defects before, during, and after the packaging process.
- Apply labels accurately and consistently according to product specifications.
- Monitor packaging materials, ensuring sufficient supply and proper usage.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work area on the production floor.
- Follow all safety protocols and quality control guidelines rigorously.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or product discrepancies to supervisors.
- Support inventory management of packaging materials by assisting with counts and records.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets efficiently.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and meticulously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for standing and repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP) (training provided).
- Prior experience in a production or warehouse setting (not required, but a plus).
