Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofing Specialist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to advance their career with a reputable company. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of roofing projects, including installation, repair, and maintenance across various roofing systems. We are offering Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for eligible candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace various types of roofing materials, including slate, tile, felt, and EPDM.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify leaks, damage, and areas requiring repair.
- Prepare work sites, ensuring safety standards are met and materials are readily available.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and to a high standard.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional conduct on site.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Roofing Specialist or similar role (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in various roofing techniques and materials.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid UK driving license preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Roofing or equivalent qualification.
- CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- Experience with lead work and specialist roofing systems.
- First Aid certification.
