Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Regulatory Support Officer to join our Business Compliance team in Brisbane. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the organisation adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will provide essential administrative and research support, contributing to the smooth operation of our compliance frameworks and helping to mitigate regulatory risks. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and documentation.
  • Conduct research on new and existing regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Maintain and update compliance records, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the coordination of internal and external audits related to compliance.
  • Liaise with various internal departments to gather necessary compliance information.
  • Prepare training materials and communications related to compliance initiatives.
  • Monitor and track compliance-related action items and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative, support, or compliance-related role, particularly within financial services.
  • Tertiary qualification in Law, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with Australian financial services regulations (e.g., ASIC, APRA).
  • Experience with compliance management systems or databases.
