Job Description
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Unreal Engine Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing core gameplay features, systems, and tools for our upcoming projects. You will work closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to bring our creative visions to life within the Unreal Engine environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to multiple aspects of game development and grow your skills in a collaborative and supportive studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain game systems and features using C++ and Unreal Engine 5.
- Collaborate with game designers and artists to translate concepts into functional game mechanics.
- Optimize code and assets for performance across various target platforms.
- Debug, profile, and resolve technical issues to ensure a smooth gameplay experience.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
- Develop and improve tools and workflows to enhance team productivity.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Unreal Engine features and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in C++ programming.
- Strong working knowledge of Unreal Engine 4/5 (Blueprints, C++ integration, UMG, AI systems).
- Understanding of game development principles, architecture, and common design patterns.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
- Experience with multiplayer networking or online services.
- Knowledge of other game engines or scripting languages.
- Familiarity with console development and platform-specific optimizations.
- Experience with shaders, rendering pipelines, or graphics programming.
- A portfolio demonstrating personal or professional game projects.
