Job Description
We are urgently seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our kitchen team as a Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward. This is an immediate start, full-time position crucial to the smooth operation of our busy kitchen. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. If you’re a hard worker with a positive attitude looking for a stable role in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing machinery to clean all crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Manually wash oversized or delicate items when necessary.
- Ensure all washed items are properly stored and accessible for kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and general kitchen space.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
- Support the culinary team during busy periods to ensure smooth service.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
