Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated WFH Systems Analyst with a strong focus on WFH Infrastructure to join our remote-first team. This role is crucial for ensuring our remote workforce has robust, secure, and efficient IT systems and infrastructure. You will be responsible for analysing, designing, implementing, and supporting systems that enable our employees to work seamlessly from anywhere. This is a fantastic opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented professional to contribute to the backbone of our remote operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and diagnose issues related to remote work infrastructure, including VPNs, remote desktop solutions, and collaboration platforms.
  • Design and implement solutions to enhance the reliability, security, and performance of WFH systems.
  • Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex technical issues impacting remote users.
  • Manage and maintain WFH-specific hardware and software configurations, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Develop and update documentation for WFH infrastructure, standard operating procedures, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to implement and enforce security best practices for remote environments.
  • Participate in projects related to new technology deployments, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks or areas for proactive improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to end-users on WFH technologies and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems in a corporate environment.
  • Experience with remote access technologies and virtual desktop infrastructure (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft RDP).
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified Associate).
  • Experience with cloud-based IT services and infrastructure (Azure, AWS).
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
