Job Description

As a Victim Advocate, you will provide vital emotional and practical support to victims of crime, helping them navigate complex systems and access the resources they need to recover and rebuild. Key Responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and non-judgemental emotional support to victims of crime.
- Assist victims in understanding their rights and the criminal justice process.
- Liaise with various agencies including police, social services, and other support organisations on behalf of victims.
- Help victims access practical support such as housing, medical aid, or counseling services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of interactions and cases.
- Advocate for victims' needs and preferences within the justice system and community services.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance advocacy skills.

- No prior experience as a Victim Advocate is required; full training will be provided.
