Job Description

Vets4Pets Blackpool is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Veterinary Pharmacy Assistant. No prior experience is required as full, comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you gain the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this vital role. Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinary surgeons and nurses with the dispensing and preparation of medications under direct supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispensed medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage and organise pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotating supplies.
- Assist with processing prescription refills and preparing medications for patient collection.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is kept clean, tidy, and organised at all times.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to clients regarding medication queries and collection.
- Adhere strictly to all clinic policies, safety protocols, and pharmaceutical guidelines.
- Support the wider veterinary team with general administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Basic computer literacy.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
