Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Validation Engineer to join our innovative team in Wolverhampton. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our cutting-edge aerospace systems, software, and processes meet stringent industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will design, execute, and document validation activities, contributing directly to the safety, reliability, and performance of our products. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and review validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) for manufacturing processes, equipment, software, and systems.
- Perform data analysis and statistical evaluation of validation results, identifying trends and discrepancies.
- Write comprehensive validation reports, summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all validation activities comply with industry standards (e.g., AS9100), regulatory requirements, and internal quality procedures.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and other engineering teams to integrate validation into the product lifecycle.
- Investigate and resolve validation deviations, out-of-specification results, and non-conformances.
- Participate in risk assessments and FMEAs related to validated processes and equipment.
- Maintain and update validation master plans and schedules.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Proven experience in validation engineering within a regulated industry (aerospace, automotive, medical devices).
- Strong understanding of validation principles, methodologies, and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and data interpretation.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of AS9100 quality management system and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with validation of automated manufacturing systems or complex software.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
- Familiarity with risk management tools and techniques.
