Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate UX Designer to join our growing team in Harrogate. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing user-centered solutions from concept to implementation, ensuring our products are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional and delightful to use. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to translate complex requirements into elegant, user-friendly interfaces. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, gathering feedback and iterating designs.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in UX design software (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with conducting user research and usability testing.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating UX design expertise.
- Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Experience in a digital agency environment.
