As an Ushering Team Member, you will be the face of Genesis Cinemas, ensuring every guest has an exceptional movie-going experience. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and safe environment, guiding patrons, and assisting with their needs. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon their arrival.
- Accurately check tickets and direct guests to their correct cinema halls and seats.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the cinema halls, lobby, and restroom areas before, during, and after screenings.
- Assist guests with inquiries, provide information about film schedules, cinema facilities, and upcoming events.
- Ensure compliance with cinema policies and safety regulations.
- Handle guest concerns and direct them to appropriate management when necessary.
- Support other cinema operations as required to ensure smooth service delivery.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, positive, and customer-service oriented attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as per operational needs.
- Basic proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to communicate in local Nigerian languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa) is an advantage.
